MY CADENCE AMP... :( Help

i was pumping my stereo this amp is running one 12inch sub, and i just stoped.... still lights up just dont produce anysound?

could anyone help me with this over the internet? or even point out what not working? so i can replace it, solder a new one? ect anyhelp will be great thanks

have u tried a different sub on it mate? the sub could have just died in the ass. other than that only thing i can suggest is double check your rca's, sub connections and gain settings. circuit and board problems are beyond me :O

check amp fuse if its still alright time 4 a new amp im afraid might have overheated heard of a few cadnece amps that have overheated and cooked the board

see the thing is, it all lights up, just dosnt produce sound

yer well if the amp is lighting up, it has power. if you have tried another sub all connected properly that singles out the amp as the weak link. so it would either be the amp isnt getting signal, either from your source unit or rca cables, otherwise there is an internal prob with it. I assume its out of warranty? best bet is to get an electronics mob to check it out, you could be lucky may be something simple
