Hello All,
Only new to this forum, and to the whole Holden scene, =) always been a ford fanatic, but picked up a VS commodore for cheap that is going to be my little project over the next few months.
The car is a Sedan, and the main question is in regards to the Front Kicker 6" Splits that i purchased, at the moment it will be running to the Head Unit, (amp in the near future).
What is the best way to setup the splits in the front, mainly the wiring, ie. Re-Routing the Front Left/Right Wires FROM the head unit to the crossover box than from the box to the Speaker and Tweeter?
Any suggestions? First time I am playing around with a commodore =)
I am using Pioneer 6x9's in the back which are perfectly fine, just unsure about the splits and wiring!
Thanks,
Dean
mate just get some good elec tape and route the wires however.
most people find it easy to mount the x-overs to the black plastic under the foot well.
tweeters usually sound best in the corner of the windscreen.
Exactly what i was going to do, mount it in the footwell, use the existing speaker wire to connect the speaker (that way i dont have to go through the door), reroute from the back of the head unit to the crossover box, and that should be that.
