    Default pioneer deh-6350 help

Ok so i just got my brothers Pioneer DEH-6350 HU and have installed it using the help on here (thanks JC members) now ive gonnected a audio cable to the output in the back (red and white connected going into a headphone type jack) and have plugged my mp3 player in and cant find how to run it through the HU. I know my brother had his laptop connected this way and he got it to work but i cant get in contact with him as he is overseas.

Anyone kno how to select auxillary or whatever to play the mp3 player.

since its a pioneer, you'll have to press a button that says source. It's usually the volume dial. Give that a try.
    My car audio:

CD tuner: Alpine CDA-9884E with Ipod interface
    Front speakers: Alpine Type R SPR-17S 6.5 component speakers, powered by a avant-garde 23dxi 2 channel amplifier - 2x51 watt RMS
Rear speakers: pioneer coaxials connected to tuner
Subwoofer: Alpine Type R SWR-1222D 12" 2 ohm dual voice coil 500 watts RMS powered by a response precision 2x150 watts RMS 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms

That head unit only has AUX input via the IP-Bus connection on the back. The red and white connections are RCA and are only for OUTPUT to amplifiers, so you can't plug things IN to them and have it operate properly.
