mate its allllll too easy, if you stick with 6" splits you shouldnt have to cut a thing. could probarbly even push a 6 1/2" (may have to cut a little bit off the edge), theres plenty of guides on the forum if you get stuck anywhere, but once you remove speaker covers etc. its as simple as disconnecting, reconnecting and remounting the new speakers!

just dont pull the steel mesh grill of the front of the door pods as you cannot get to the speaker this way! you have to remove the door trim its self!

haha i know how you feel mate! thats why i tried to warn you first now for your tweeters in the dash, there is a small screw in the vents you will have to get out with a small stubby philips screw driver, after that the actual vent that covers the tweeters should pull out to reveal the factory tweeter!

no dont take the dash off, the 2 ac vents that sit up on the dash come out after you remove the small screw (there could be 2 screws cant rember lol) but once you remove the screws the actual ac vents that runs along the front of the windscreen should come out

No, what you do is after removing the tweeter screws, cut the factory tweeter wire and then with your new tweeter wire feed it down the hole where the original tweeter wire runs, you then drop down the panel under the steering wheel and you should see your new tweeter wire in there somewhere, and from there you can hook up your splitter box and stash it under there aswell on the other side however you will have to remove the glove box and when feeding your new tweeter wire down the hole just look for it in the space behind the glovebox! if you have enough tweeter wire you can run the passenger tweeter splitter box and put it under the drop down panel with the other splitter box i have to go out now to bob janes to get a tyre repaired but should be back in a couple of hours, so best of luck with it mate

ok mate thanks, well the glovebox is no issure seeming when i open it it falls out haha, i gota fix it but i have no idea how, the right slip the holds it in snapped off? what should i do lol and eyahh thanks for that i dont think it would be to much trouble to install the speakers .
another thought is instead of re running new speakers through the gromit in the door i could use the existing wire then jsut cut it off when it gets to the inside of the car, run that under the trim to the boot and amp it? or should i run whole enw wire the whole way?

dont make the mistake of gettin 6.5inch otherwise a easy job becomes a long and painful journey!!! as i found out.... once the splits are in you will love it

    it depends on the speaker.
just because some 6 1/2 inch fit does not mean all will.
