wats the best way or place to get the positive wire through the firewall on a vp commy cheers
i dont know about the VP, but on a VR, there's a rubber grommet behind the brake booster. You can easily fit it through there and out through the other side where the fuses are.
My car audio:
CD tuner: Alpine CDA-9884E with Ipod interface
Front speakers: Alpine Type R SPR-17S 6.5 component speakers, powered by a avant-garde 23dxi 2 channel amplifier - 2x51 watt RMS
Rear speakers: pioneer coaxials connected to tuner
Subwoofer: Alpine Type R SWR-1222D 12" 2 ohm dual voice coil 500 watts RMS powered by a response precision 2x150 watts RMS 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
i run mine through near the steering colum

+ from ch#3; - from ch#4.
next the 4channel amp will not get enough power to the sub almost definatelty.
time for a new amp mate.
if it's an auto, you could use the rubber clutch cable grommit to feed a thick cable through if need be. it's on the passanger's side of the brake booster.
yee its auto is the gromet ur talkin bout like right next to the brake booster on the right hand side if ya lookin at it from in the front of the car and would i just have to feed it through form the engine bay and then just find it under the dash? or do i have to feed a coat hanger through or sumthing? thanks for ya help
setup the amp and sub today bridged on channel 3 and 4 with my 6x9's on 1 and 2
sound good but you can easily pick that the sub can take a crap load more
