Default thought a few of you might get a giggle out of this: panasonic cq-tx5500

just just cruising ebay, bored with nothing else to do and came across this little gem.
Rare Panasonic CQ-TX5500W Vacuum Tube CD Player MP3 - eBay Car CD MP3 Receivers, Car Audio In-Dash Units, Car Electronics, Consumer Electronics. (end time 11-Jan-08 21:44:04 AEDST)
its a panasonic h/u but with a valve amp. i assume that the valve is used for the hi level outs...... seems a bit strange to encourage use of hi level on such a h/u.
    cheers, garth.

oh good god....it's running off of 12V So in a sense, when the valve "heats" up in reality it lights up an orange led from behind it.

someone correct me if this is wrong but it looks like panasonic have added a valve amp instead of the conventional mosfet amp.
