    Default Remove VX stereo

    hey guys, iv seached for ages and cant find a thread on removing the dash to get to the stereo in a vx. For my old vp there was a step by step thread that was awesome and was just wondering if there was anything similar or if anyone could show me the easy way

    the factory deck pulls out wiht coathanger wire put into the 4 holes on front of deck
    no screws or pulling anyhting apart

    yeah but i dont hav a factory deck..got a double din screen in there. gotta get to the back to whack some rcas in and the aux cord for the ipod.

    depends who how where it was fitted some places just ram it in with no screws and it will pull stright out
    others ya drop the sides off and undo heapos screws and start really pulling car apart to get it out
    take out glove box and drop side panel 3 scress and ya cna have a look how its done
    theres where i would start

    lol, its not as bad as it looks, honestly !.. he would have got that car down to that stage in about 30/40 minutes - yeah ?...

    hehehe yeah ya do go that far but that is a little bit over kill
    most car audio places wouldnt go that far they would just ram in it heheh

    Yes, if u are putting in a double din properly. Some peopl dodgy it up with wood packers but to screw it in pro u need to pull the dash apart.
