6.5'' component speaker install

hey i brought some 6.5'' component speakers only thing is they dont fit in the door pods just wondering if anyones got pics of theres if they had trouble with the samething or what did they do any help would be good thanks

hi.. well the original speakers are. 6 inch so really your trying to fit an extra half an inch. from what i have heard many people have filed the plastic back so that they fit in the door trims better. or possibly some spacers. but your best bet is to file some back.

Hey mate,

I have 6.5" Splits in the factory location, all you ned to do is trim the whole a little bigger with a jig saw, u will also have to cut the back of the spacer off as it hits the magnet. Any problems PM me and ill help u out.
