hi i got a vt and i want to make a better sub box i have 1 12" fusion powerplant sub, and i want to put it into a rectangle box which will measure 800 mm wide, 450mm high, and 400mm deep, im thinking about putting a port in it. ( i need to know how be to make the port to.) How do i work how many litres this box is and will it be ok and also i generally listen to rap, dance trance music, should i make it ported, i want heaps of boom bass.

Yes, if you want low depth rumbling bass, go for a port. As for the box specs, i'm not sure about fusion as i run a brand new JL W3, but maybe try the fusion website....??

Just don't buy a box from JB HI FI or anything. They sound like crap. Spec made boxes FTW!!

look on the fusion website and find the recommended sub box specs for your fusion sub. once you get them go to this website which will be able to help you a whole lot to get the maximum potential out of your sub. All you need to do is put in your dimensions in and presto.
