    Default JBL 6" speakers

    Hi Everyone,

Looking at purchasing a set of JBL 6" for front and back of my VS. Anyone had experience with these? Will they fit into the standard speaker holes as I have no interest in cutting up my car to make them fit.

If there is something else for a similar price you would recommend over these let me know.

    Thanks

Anyone have a idea of a better speaker for the same price range?

There just rear speakers. Focus on the front stage of your cabin. The JBL's are fine and will satisfy your needs. I recommend spending not so much on the rear and spend more on splits for the front
    My car audio:

CD tuner: Alpine CDA-9884E with Ipod interface
    Front speakers: Alpine Type R SPR-17S 6.5 component speakers, powered by a avant-garde 23dxi 2 channel amplifier - 2x51 watt RMS
Rear speakers: pioneer coaxials connected to tuner
Subwoofer: Alpine Type R SWR-1222D 12" 2 ohm dual voice coil 500 watts RMS powered by a response precision 2x150 watts RMS 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms

What would you recommend? Going to put these with JVC head unit and they won't be powered off the amp.
