    Default VE Dash mounted speaker...

Without a doubt the most f'n useless speaker ever installed by Holden. Now that the VE has a sub/amp combo, and the bass is pumped up, this speaker distorts and carry's on like a woman on her monthly's.. is there an easy way to disconnect this speaker without taking the dash apart, i.e. will the grill just pop out..?? or will i need to take it to a pro to disconnect it from the back of the H/U?

    Cheers
    Steve

Im hearing ya.. Funny thing is, the stereo in my 350z was even worse than the one in the VE.. The BOSE sub was made of paper, and the amp running it was the size of a pack of cigarettes!!! Im glad that $60k got me a stereo fit for a 1980 Datto 200B!!

Are you talking about the tweeters on each side of dash? sounds like you optioned the sub/amp combo, don't think much can do to fix that, me on the otherhand with be ripping it all out and replacing it with all the good ****.

Edit: realised you have SS, they got the 7 speaker system.
Seriously, I'm trying to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my arse!!
