VS Epuipe SII Factory Stero Problem

Hey all

This may seem like a stupid question, but i am at my wits end with the stupid thing, and holden weren't any help either.

I have a VS Series 2 commodore, with the eurovox tape deck stereo. Everything was fine with it till the battery was disconnected about 4 times, and now it won't take the stupid pin number!! The diplay shows the number one in the corner, and i use the numbered buttons to input the code, but, when you press number one for the first number, then number 2 for teh second, all it does is keep the number going up to 6, then it starts again witht he second attempt

Does anybody have any suggestions how i can get it to take the pin number again, I have tried most things and have had a gutful.

i had to contact eurovox, i took in my head unit and proof of ownership ( i drove my car there and showed receipts) they gave me the code, which still didnt work, so they tested the unit and discovered it fried its internals!!!
So i did the only right thing, and installed and after market h/u. The only problem is that the steering wheel controls dont work.

the same thing has happened with my gf's eurovox head deck in her barina. the batt was d/c a few times and it wont accept the code now. holden tech said that is most likely fried as well. do yourself a favour and upgrade to an aftermarket deck mate
