Hi there
I've just inherited a 02/2005 VZ Executive, and much to my disappointment it won't play CD-RW discs in the standard CD player.
I have been driving a colleagues VZ which is only 2 months newer and it plays the CD-RW's fine
Was there an upgrade to the system about Feb 05? or is there something else I need to do to get the CD-RW's working?
Glen
The cds that you used in your car that didnt work, did you put that exact cd in your mates car? It may not have anything to do with the car, but the disc itself.
Yeah it was exactly the same CD, just took it out of the other car, and put it into mine, and got the 'check CD' error
Glen
Hmm, that's interesting.
I've never been able to play CDRWs in mine, but it plays CDRs just fine. (as long as I use decent quality media) I was under the impression that none of them (the VY/VZ Blaupunkt units) would play CDRWs, but it seems I was wrong!
(these days though, CDRs are so damn cheap I never use CDRWs!)

For gods sake,CDRs are 15 cents each,forget CD-RW.
@ SYNTHESISE it's not an MP3 player,get over it.
