gday guys
im looking to add another amp into my setup and wondering if its gonna make a differnece or ill be wasting my time...
At the momeny i am running a 2008 alpine headunit 6" splits in the front and 6" speakers in the rear all 'type s' apline, running off an alpine 4 channel amp
then in the rear i have 2 x 12" 'type s' alpine subs being run off an alpine mono block
so the question is would it be a waste of thime if i was to get a matching second mono block and run one mono block per sub and the 4 channel for the speakers??
what would be the best way to wire these up (bridging)
cheers
We need a little more info mate, For example: What subs and what VC are they ? Amp model numbers would be good etc.

cant find any info on the subs...theyre about 2 years old now mayb less...type s with a silver cone i bought them enclosed in an alpine box from jb
can anyone help me?
the subs are dual 2ohm voice coils yer? if it is then you'll be running 400watts to each sub, so 800watts for the subs if you were to buy another monoblock.
right now, you're probably running 600watts. so for a couple hundred bucks to gain 200watts i rekon its a waste of time
