Hi every one im using my long weekend to install my stereo (finally) and im just wondering were is the best place for the tweeters from my JBL splits in a vt. When i done my vn i put them at the top of the pillar near the roof so they faced right at you and it sounded pretty good. So now i was thinkin same place or maybe in the door trim under the A/C vent?? Im just chasing some nice clear sound so any suggestions from the pro's is welcome.
Thanks Roger

Got mine in behind the side mirrors... on the plastic panels.... Its at a great height to get good sound.....
Sorry bout the pic, only pic I could find in which actually had the tweeter in it....
Good luck mate, like wrx said on top of your dash actually has something that looks like an airvent.... supposedly for tweeters...
Put them in the stock location... It sounds good and is SIMPLE!

yeah thats where i put mine as well, except i havent really attached them to the door, they just sit there , i put a bit of silastic on the wire behind and thats held them in place for a year so far
Really, there is no point mounting them visible like that. It will give a much brighter sound which is not usually desirable from mid range speakers and are a magnet for thieves.
The stock location actually sounds better depending on the speakers.
