Default VT front splits, were to tweet??

Hi every one im using my long weekend to install my stereo (finally) and im just wondering were is the best place for the tweeters from my JBL splits in a vt. When i done my vn i put them at the top of the pillar near the roof so they faced right at you and it sounded pretty good. So now i was thinkin same place or maybe in the door trim under the A/C vent?? Im just chasing some nice clear sound so any suggestions from the pro's is welcome.
    Thanks Roger

Really, there is no point mounting them visible like that. It will give a much brighter sound which is not usually desirable from mid range speakers and are a magnet for thieves.

The stock location actually sounds better depending on the speakers.
