You will need to use right angled RCA plugs to get it to fit in. The normal type sit out too far and hit.

even right angle is a bitch to fit in if there is 6 of them.
how much do you like your heater? just remove the heater core, then heaps of room.
otherwise, you will just need to wiggle and maybe have the unit sit out a tiny bit. the stock one is pretty far back as well.

you could always put it in the spare pocket under where Headunit goes and put a TV in. Just a thought, Nah its not easy whatever you do but u have to use the right angled RCA's

What you have to do is re-drill the holes in the mounting brackets to get the headunit to sit further out, which gives you more clearence at the back. Failing that I have heard u can use a heat gun to remould the plastic heater box behind the headunit.

Thats correct about heating up the heater box. I have done it to 3 different Vs's and works very well. We used straight Rca cables and there was no problem with fitting, taking in mind we did mount the head unit a little further forward.

Looks the part and nothing has been affected, eg heater or RCAs.

    Thanks
