What speakers?

What speakers should I put in the front of my VC Commodore?
Some people have told me to use 6" 2 way speakers, and others say I should use 6" splits, with the tweeter on the dash.
I currently have 3 way 6x9"s on the parcel shelf.

definitly get the splits, but dont put the tweeters on the dash. they will be a bit bright! i dont know if the VC's have factory speakers in the dash, but if they do, put the tweeters where they go.

If there running from the deck then stick 2 the 2 ways , splits are deffinatley better but you really need to run them from an amp to justify the extra cost and work involved in fitting them.
