these speakers with this amp???

i dont know much about audio so im trying to get a rough idea about which speakers for which amp...

Clarion Australia | SRR1646 - speakers

Clarion Australia | APX4240 - amp

not sure if that amp is powerful enough or not powerful enough or if those speakers have the right ohms or the 4 way is good.... i honestly am not a super freak at audio.

So any comments thoughts will be helpful

Yeah, that amp is fine for those speakers. Generally, you match up the RMS or continuous power ratings of the speakers to the amp. It's ok to have a little more power from the amp than needed. Those speakers are rated at 45W continuous and the amp is rated at 60W, so you have slightly more power than needed but that's fine.

but one question, how did you find out that they were 45W continuous?
