Mono Amp

Hey guys I am just looking for an amp to run 2 x 12 inch Kicker L7s so i wanted an amp that can run 1500watt RMS. I had a look on the net and found a Kicker one that would do teh job and an MTX one taht could do the job. What are kicker and MTX like as an amp?
Also are there any other amps that you guys would recommend to me. I dont like cheap stuff that is out there and i am looking for something a little higher performance then just standard.

I had a look at the amp and it look pretty good but i have not heard a lot about rockford at all so whats everyones opinion on the RF gear?

Rockfords Power line is very good, they're punch line however leaves a little to be desired.

Unfortunately more and more of the RF line up is now being made in China and other Asian countries, but the Power amps are still made in the USA I believe.

If you can track them down, Soundstream PCA1500D are great. I am using one in my system currently (had it over 18months now) and not had one problem running 2 Alpine Type R's.
Alternatively, the newer model is a PCX1500D which i can also recommend as a great amp as a mate has one.
Both are 1ohm stable and very reliable.

DD M2? 1x1700w rms, lots of headroom would run the l7s perfectly

Your mate has one? They're not even out yet. Some of the new gear hasn't even arrived at the Australian warehouse yet, let alone be distributed or sold. Although they should be here within a month.

It doesn't matter what audio business his family owns, Soundstream have not done the release launch yet and nobody will get their hands on them before the launch.

Sorry champ, i'm not going to bother arguing with you on here as it's pointless, however i can 100% confirm that it is the new picasso series amplifier and should i see the thing in the next few weeks, i will be sure to take some photos and post them up. It's black with white stripes/lines running along it and of fair size.

As i said though, i'm not going to bother arguing, so i'll leave it at this. If i manage to remember/get photos they will be posted here asap.
