Default which amp should i buy

    hey guys,

    i have purchased mtx tx6001 splits. they are 90w RMS, 180w peak, 4 0hm.
haha i dont really understand much of this, i just wanted to know some amps which would be suitable to run these speakers with out much trouble. im not too sure what i am willing to spend at the moment as i dont have much of an idea when it comes to price ranges of amps, something that could run the speakers comfortabley would be good.
i am intending to get a sub later on, but i dont mind getting another amp just for the sub later on aswell. also do most people have two subs or would one be enough, or would it depend on the quality of the sub.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thankyou

I recommend purchasing a jaycar response 4x130 watt RMS amplifier so you can power the splits, and bridge the other two channels for the sub you intend on getting later on.
    My car audio:

CD tuner: Alpine CDA-9884E with Ipod interface
    Front speakers: Alpine Type R SPR-17S 6.5 component speakers, powered by a avant-garde 23dxi 2 channel amplifier - 2x51 watt RMS
Rear speakers: pioneer coaxials connected to tuner
Subwoofer: Alpine Type R SWR-1222D 12" 2 ohm dual voice coil 500 watts RMS powered by a response precision 2x150 watts RMS 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms

If you want to spend as little as possible and get an OK amp, then Jaycar amps are the go. Anything cheaper isn't usually any good. But there is much better amps out there if you want to spend more

Nah, I couldn't recommend anything MUCH BETTER that is still cheaper... Most mainstream brands are only as good as the Jaycar's and cost more. It's the exotic brands that are better but cost a LOT more. Things like Audison, Boston Acoustics, Oz Audio, Focal, Tru Tech, etc.

If you Google FHRX, their products page has a fair few retail price lists to give you an idea of other brand prices.
