Okay, first what my system consits of!
1 x pioneer hu
2 x pioneer amps (2 channel + 4 channel GM6200F)
Pioneer 6*9s (run off the 4chan amp + splits later to be installed)
1 x 12inch sub
Okay, now my layout..not sure if this is right :/
Battery

Fuse
^
Splitter
^
Amp1 Amp2
^Sub Speakers
Amps connecting to the hu via the remote + rca's
Now, it keeps cutting out...or one speaker cuts out depending how fast i go around a corner? Is that a speaker problem? Amp Prob? Or possibly wire Problem?
Is it okay to run the ONE remote cable to the first amp, then just a 2nd cable from amp - amp?
Also with the fuse, should i have 2 after the splitter? so each amp has its own fuse?
I'm using the Think red cable...can't remember the gauge but it was the better one.
Both amps are grounded correctly, least i've had no trouble there ( Connected them to the belt buckles under the seats...hides it all away nice and easy then!
But yeah main problems, system cuts out...sometimes for no reason...vol not up loud etc...cold night so its not overheating..
Othertimes i go around a corner fast and a speaker will cut out, i need to 'throw' the car the other way for it to kick back in lol.
Just noticed one of the 6x9's was starting to get random cracklin noises in it.. :/
Is there anything else i need to buy to make the system better? another battery? bigger fuses? everythings connected/touching/grounded etc so i can't see any other problems unless some tiny wire in the amps keep touching/untouching
Cheers
Richie
Oh also, tried searching..... Boot Rattle, how the hell do i shut it up, sounds so gay outside my car
Edit: Also sometimes a speaker drops out... but if i centre it to only that speaker you can still hear it really quietly?

hey mate i had a similar problem in my vr and my rear speakers in the parcel shelf, they would only sometimes cut out, like going around a corner or over a speed hump. it turned out the termials were touching the metal brackets underneath the parcel shelf. The reason it was only sometimes cutting out was that the paint on the brackets was creating an insulation effect but the rubbing termials had worn it away in some spots, hence the cutting out sometimes when the termials touched the metal without the paint. it gradually got worse and worse so i took the speakers out, realised the problem and covered the c*nt in electrical tape. should be a good 20years before it wears through that sh*t. maybe you have something similar in your system, took me a while to figure this out and i had checked the terminals before, so maybe check not only your connections but also anything that could move and touch them as you go around corners, i would say its a wiring thing. hope this helps
check all connection.
wiggle each when they are conne3cted to see if you can replicate the crackle.
Also on a different note, and of the seat bolts are usually pretty poor a ground.
Finally, if the wire to the 2 amps goes from the thickest stuff and is split in to smaller wires to each amp the smaller wires should be fused or the main wire needs to be fused at the smaller cables current rating.
