    Default mounting double din dvd player?

    ey guys

    just bought my self a 7" pioneer touch screen dvd unit, hookd it all up and that, works gr8, but it dosent sit flush, ther a fair bit of gaps and alot of movement...

    just wondering if any 1 knows how i cud mount it in???

    it is goin in on wednesday to get it done, but if i can do it myself it wud b betta and save sum more cash

    There are mounting kits available for your model, but they are quite rare.I had one a while back, but I sold it to a JC member. The kit was made by Scoshe and was actually to fit certain American cars, but was suitable for VT/VX....at last word, it seemed like it fitted ok.

    which pioneer double din did ya get? Pioneer DDX6099 or what ever it is.

    Hows it sound and functions?, how come you didn't go for a kenwood or alpine?

    Yeah thats the one i meant, was to lazy to look up the product code. I was thinking about getting that, but then i was told u need pioneer amp as any other amp wont work or some sh..t. Other thing apparently u cant play dvd mp3s is this true? how much was it?

    tried it today, didnt work, dosent bother me i can still hav a few hundred or so songs on a normal disk
