Default mounting a JVC head unit into aVR?

Any tips on how to mount a jvc head unit into a VR auto?

i have removed the old standard eurovox tape/radio! the brackets from that do not line up with the new cd player.
anyone done this before and can guide me, any help will be greatly appreciated.
is there a mounting kit perhaps that i can buy?
i have the wiring sorted using a aeropro adapter into the existing loom.

you can either attach the brackets from the eurovox onto the jvc and screw it in or wedge the jvc cage in the gap and slide the unit in. 1st way is a bit more secure .

Im not sure about the screw locations on JVC units, but if its the same as pioneers then drill a hole directly in between the two holes towards the front of the brackets. This will be the first screw hole and will make the units fascia line up nicely with the console (from experience). One screw on each side should be enough to hold the unit secure. But if your like me and want to get it right the first time, screw the brackets on loosely, make some measurements and drill a second hole on the brackets.

Is it not just common sense to drill new holes in the brackets so they do line up ?
