fitting 6.5s in the rear of a vr commodore

hey guys just wondering if anyone has got 6.5 inch speakers to fit in the parcel shelf. im contempllating getting some but not sure how they will fit in any help is good thanks all

yeh ive got 6.5 in mine, they fit no worries no modification needed.

sweet thanks man.. it might be time for splits in the rear. anyone who has splits in the rear did you just mount the tweeter to the parcel shelf or did you mount it on the side pillars or something like that

i've got rear splits in my vs, although they didnt just go in without modding. had to put a spacer between the shelf and the factory mounts and screw into that....not a big drama tho. and yer i just screwed the tweeters into the top of the shelf mate. a lot of ppl say splits in the rear is pointless, but i disagree
