Hi Guys,
I pulled this Alpine Stereo out today to check out the wiring and to see if i could get the Electric Aerial to work.
I found these wires and dont know what they are or do
The one with the end cut off i think it the cable for the CD Stacker.
The one that looks like a small Aerial Connector has got me stumped
There is also a single Black with White stripe wire that goes nowhere
And i got the Aerial to work. One wire wanted connected.
Also i guess the Steering wheel function buttons only work with an original stereo?![]()
hey man yeah the one with a connector is the aerial. but the black with white could possibly be your remote turn on lead. for external amplifiers.
Black with white tracer is generally an earth/negative (VN-VS anyway).
The one that looks like the Aerial Lead isnt the Aerial lead
It is like half the size of the Aerial lead
well that would have somwthing to do with the stacker im guessing. and the black wire could possibly be the remote wire for either an amp or the external stacker/ drivers switch. the way i see it is if everything works dont worry about them..
but tape them up..
