Clarion MAX685BT

I am interested in purchasing an in-dash dvd receiver the Clarion MAX685BT from the USA. Before i do is there anything I should know before i start spending money on something that isnt going to work properly in Australia. I've got a feeling that I may not be able to use the radio as it was designed for USA radio frequencies. Any help would be great thnx

radio should be fine, still works on the same freq range (different increments perhaps?) Its the Japanese ones you need a converter for, as they are on a lower freq range (correct me if im wrong)

The only downside to imported stuff is the lack of any real warranty.
