Resetting my radio on my VP commodore

hi there, i'm 18 and just got a very clean and nice VP commodore that my grandfather owned, i have just put it on gas but for some reason my radio/cassette wont work, no matter what i press, the manual doesnt say how to reset it, i know i could just go and get a super dooper cd player with MP3 but i really just want a nice clean car that can get from A to B for a couple of years.

i called the gas conversion place they have no idea, could it be from the gas conversion? maybe the battery shorted it out? the back light still turns on and when i press numbers 1-6 it comes up, but no time and no radio.

because it has lost power you have to re enter the 4 digit security code into it, should be on a card about the same size as a buisness card with the manuals and stuff
