Default duel amp questions for subs

does the amp wire from the headunit have to be split in 2 like the power?

    I have a 2 channel amp on 1 sub.

i have a 4 channel amp with a duel sub but 1 connection on the duel sub, should i just use channel 1 and 2? eg . 1 being +L and 2 being -R

    * i already have the split joints on the RCA.**

    cheers

the amp wire doesnt have to be split in two as such. just connect it as usual to the first amp. but put another wire with the remote and run it to the remote on the second amp.

Not 100% sure what you are asking or what you are running, but if you're asking if you can split the remote wire then yes. You can pretty much link the 1st amp to the 2nd amp.

Running off 2 channels in mono will sound and go better, but it will work just like a normal speaker off 1 channel too.
