You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Posted it exactly for you to comment lol I'll measure it up 2morrow.. but ofcourse VN boot.. the spot on the rear diff hump, against rear seat under parcel shelf.. and it can come forward of the hump a little bit, definately measure up the space i have to play with when theres more light.

the cost to make the box will be more than the subs are even worth.
You need to check the model number as the TS-W304 subs did not come in DVC in Australia.
I have only ever had the mid-range pioneer subs, first i had 2 twelve inchers and now i have two tens for the faster kick, but BOTH had a message in the manual saying how big the enclosure should be; for ported, sealed, band pass and free air 'boxes' respectively.
cheap boxes have always done it for me; money saved on boxes should be spent on amps![]()
Did that arrogant attitude come with your falcon, or was that an optional extra?
Why? $50-100 in materials and it's done... Those subs will be fine for most people.
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
Personally i would have them facing the rear of the boot and a box the size that suits you. The bigger the box the better the sound obviously but if you use ur boot for carrying it can get really annoying getting it in and out.
Also depends on how much kick they have when the box has a breather... if they have too much kick then pop one or 2 in, but bass does sound deeper with a sealed box.
Not the best advise but it really all comes down to convienance![]()
Who cares what their value now is... They still work the same as when they were $150 each. He's not going to find better subs and boxes for the $50-100 to make the box to make these ones sound better.
Do you realise that the box determines how speakers sound? You can easily make a well installed $150 sub sound as good as a $5oo sub install averagely.
Hozy... What do you want from the subs? More output or better musical accuracy? And have you found out the proper model number yet?
Musical accuracy is prettys spot on the box's i have measured out to be 1.6cft which is small an close to the pioneers recommended box size for these but theres a guy in the us that has these in a 3.5cft box an he's hitting massive numbers... I'm after more output... biger crazier bass from these, I paid $120 for the pair 2years ago now an there still going hard an there good enough for me, it's just now the gas tanks out of my boot i'm working on a boot install, so i'm after making a box that'll suit these aswell as another 2 12" in the future for when i decide to sell these.

Thats kind of crucial in this.

Those 3.5ft boxes would be ported and tuned high to make big numbers, but playing music it would sound pretty terrible. Do you want to sacrifice being able to listen to music for big numbers? From what you're saying, I don't think you want to do that...
You can't build a generic box to suit all 12" woofers. So if you build a new box for these, it probably won't suit better 12's when you upgrade.
