Speaker repair

Hi everyone, i was listening to my sound system in my car and realised that one of my Fusion 240w 6x9 speakers wasn't working. I took it out and had a look at it but it looked fine. I put it back in plugged it up and it worked but when there is any bass it crackles and fuzz's like crazy, then all of a sudden it stopped working. Is there anywhere that i can go to get my speaker repaired? I dont really wanna buy a new set because my other speaker is fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Even if you could fix it, it'll probably work out cheaper to buy a new set.

Anyways, test to see if it isn't your headunit or amp thats the problem. Connect the 'broken' speaker to the other side and see if it still sounds the same. If it still distorts and crackles then its the speaker, otherwise its the headunit or amp

Thanks mate, you were right it is my amp thats the problem not my speakers, now i just hope i still have my receipt cause it is still under warranty.

hi i had the same problem i've got 6.5" fusion 3-ways in my vr and one day i got in and one speaker crackled and popped and carried on and eventually just stopped so that arv i went and bought new pioneer 4 ways and when i left the shop they were both workin fine again. that was a week ago and they haven't missed a beat since. So just wait a day or so before splashin out it may come good
