was just wondering what you thought about alpine speakers
precision mobile have got a set of 6x9 type spe for $38 a pair
what do you wreckon?

If they are genuine Alpine and at least 2 ways you can't go wrong for $38.

They are prolly 2 way speakers anyway. At least go for 3 way speakers.

Amen to that, but when $38 is all you have it's better than no music or factory speakers. We can't all afford 2k worth of stereo gear

That's true.. it all depends what your going to listen to. If you want a set of speakers for your car i'd pary up to the $100 mark or round abouts for a decent pair.

they are 3-way speakers they are having a midnight madness sale.
I already have sony explod 2-way 6x9's in the back of my wagon but I thought maybe these would be better.
I'll have a look at them.
they are type spe if anyone is familiar with alpine speakers

I had a mate trying to talk me into a full Alpine system. I wasnt talked into it until the Audi thats on the cover of this months ( I think its this months, me mate came over to show me the car they installed the gear into, made the front cover) Australian Incar Entertainment was at me mates house, he was one of the guys doing the install on it. It is what sold me on spending heaps on a car stereo, when my home one is a piece of shit Kenwood mini system

just to add my 5 cents worth, i don't think they would be genuine alpine, if they are they would be base model and by that i mean really base model, i would go check out your local tonkins for alpine

dunno about the 6x9's but i have a set of the better splits and they pump great! best money i haeve spent.
