but I assume the speakers, aren't subs, and a monoblock only has one channel, so you will no longer have stereo sound, plus, most monoblock amplifiers won't play full range, they will only play bass.
if its subs you're talking about, then sure, you can do it, without blowing anything up.
you could run a 1 watt speaker, off a 10,000watt amp without blowing it.
I don't know if the power figures you've given are rms, or imaginary peak, never going to happen numbers, but it doesn't matter.
If the speaker is a sub than the amp will run it fine. Remember its better to over power then to under power.
If its a normal speaker eg. 6x9 then it wont work. Pretty sure most if not all monoblocks are class D amps and therefore are designed for low frequencies. When compared to class AB amps, class D have more distortion but when running at low frequencies, it isn't noticeable. Thats why class AB are best for normal speakers but can be used for subs and class D are for subs.
