changing decks in a vy

ok fellas i know when u change the deck in ya vy u have to get a special signal thing for the deck to be able to use the steering wheel controls does anyone know if u can do that with any deck or only certain decks and what is it?????

You need to but a Car Audio Transponder (CAT-08) i think they range form $150-$250 that was 2 years ago i was going to buy one but i found it cheaper to use the remote what came with the player.
