Ipod video cable

Got the alpine IVA-W502E screen in my car and jus got a full speed video cable but its not working properly, music works and the album artwork comes up but when ya push video theres nothing..Iv got an ipod touch (and yeh its got vids on it) so just wondering is there settings i hav to change of something? The vid files are AAC which is supported..

Any ideas? I got told to toggle between PAL and NTSC or whatever it is, did nothing..just frustrating when ya pay that little extra to get the option ofplayin ya vids and then it doesnt work..
