For what it's worth, that sounds like a pretty sweet little setup to me.

I'd be interested to know how that 5 channel Response amp goes - I've had a really good run with my Response amps.

Are you planning to go with any deadening/damping as part of the install?

For cabling, you could buy a "kit", in which case you would need a "4 channel" kit (so you get four RCA feeds), with at least a 4G main power feed cable. If you're really serious you might want to go with 2G power cable, but it wouldn't be necessary. 8G power is out of the question, too light. (the lower the wire gauge number, the thicker the wire is) And you WILL need a suitable fuse - say 60 or 80 amp - in that line as close as possible to the battery.

Are you going to have the help of a mate who has done audio installs before? It mightn't hurt, because regardless of the quality of the gear you buy, if the install isn't done properly it won't sound all that great. Also, with heavy cable feeding direct from the battery you need to make sure of certain safety aspects otherwise you might just set your pride and joy on fire!

    Good luck with it. Cheerz!

Nice simple and clean You will need three pairs of RCAs though and not 2 so either get a 4channel kit and an extra pair of rcas or buy a 6 channel kit
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

Excellent choice I think, works out very simple and very easy. 1 amp for a full setup

Normally when people ask about compatibility of parts its completely mismatched, so a very pleasant suprise mate to see you've obviously done your research first

Thanks guys, As for install i think i might put the speakers in myself but pay someone to install the amp. I will ask a few mates and see if any of them have done it before. I still need to get the funds together but will let you guys know how it goes.
