hey guys i have a couple of clarion subs i wanna take em outa the dual box and put one in a single wat im after is sum measurements on a box i wanna build my own and try and get as much outa the sub as possible thanks guys also i dunno wat specs i need to work it all out help will be appreciated thanks

Ok dude, first off need to know what type of Clarions and what amp you have powering them. Then also need to know what sort of music you like to listen too and what YOU want out of them. Last thing, need dimensions for the biggest possible area that you are willing to sacrifice for a box. I personally tend to go inbetween the strut towers and push it up against the seat.

it is a clairon dp12xb sub and its a hpx1300 clarion amp runnin it all run with 4guage wires its for my sister mate and she said she jsut wants it as loud as possible the bass and it can take the whole boot of her vr if it has to lol... id say inbetween the strut towers but she listens to rnb dance stuff

ok, thats in a pre fab right? better off measuring that box and making one half the size. That box is DESIGNED for maximum output from those drivers.

would it be betta if the new box was ported in sum way weiter it a normal port or a slot port

hey mate just wondering what you've done with the remaining subwoofer that was originally in the dual subwoofer package? I am lookin to buy a single clarion dp12xb subwoofer?
