Exclamation Good amp for the job

hey holden lovers, im putting in 90WRMS Splits and a JBL 15" 300WRMS sub in my car. Can u recommend some amps that would do the job nicely, anything within $500 is cool (if its possible). thanks

it is realy hard to go past the response range of amps, they are great value for money and go ****ing hard. A 4x100rms classd 4channel will do the job nicely. Also a 4channel Alpine PDX amp comes in around the 500 mark and is a tiny amp but packs a fair bit of grunt.

    Cheers

^^ I would not be running the splits and subs off the same amp. I'd get a 100wrmsx2 amp for the speakers if you wanted them amped up and a 300wrmsx1 mono for the sub.

    Any reason for this?

A jaycar 4x100 4channel will give the splits 100rms (@4ohm) each and the sub 300rms from the rears bridged (@4ohm), a perfect match for the sub with headroom for the splits, Going for 2 amps would only be a waste of cash and space.
Here is a link mate $399 wont beat this for quality+value.

Jaycar amps are decent hey, the 5ch won a award in hot4 mag.

    I got 2x of the 1000wrms linkable mono's powering my Xtype 12".
Ive had no dramas with them.

I also work there so i get them cheaper hehehe

Hmm yeah, I stand corrected. For some reason I didn't think about bridging the channels for the sub.
