VY Speakers Question.

Hey all, I have just purchased a HU, Amp, Sub.
I have no idea what to do about the speakers, when i am listening to music (on the stock HU) when bass kicks in it turns down a bit, will this happen when i have the new HU in or not? cheers

Theres a setting in your cars computer, to stop your speakers from distortion....it does what your describing....you can turn it off there

No, once you install an aftermarket unit that feature is disabled. As cewing posted above, it is a setting in the computer (displayed on the dash near speedo). But as your replacing the unit it dosent matter.
