ok well im about to go out and try and fit a 2 din dvd player in my vp any help and info on fiting /cuting /smashing watever ineed to know i dont want to go and brake somthing that i need any help much appreciate thanks andrew

ps i dont even know if a 2 din fits in a vp

double din is not compatible with a VP without custom modification. It can be done but if it's your first....leave it for a pro and be prepared to pay.

Nah a double DIN is a mission in the VN-VS commodores....it can be done but only by a pro. (just my opinion anyways)

I guess the only way to get a double din look is to grab a 7" LCD, and hook it up to a CarPC.

I mean its not that hard to hook up 2 separate DIN units, but double DIN is a different story...personally i'd go with a single DIN motorised screen, and if it dosent have a DVD player in the one unit go with one under it. Theres a little bit of chopping involved and a bit of moving stuff around etc....but it can work.

Basically, id say go with a single DIN unit with a screen and DVD player....easy to install and if need be can be taken out and installed in 99% of cars, theres also a bigger range out there with more features than doubles.
