For the fronts buy a set of VR-VS door interiors including the speaker pod which mounts to the door itself. That way you wont have to cut your original door interiors.

Get component (splits) for the front, and mount the tweeter where the stock 4" speakers are. Also giving them 80-150wrms each from an amplifier will give you great sound that dosent get overpowered by the bass.

Amp tuning as well plays a big part, take your time setting the gain/filters on the amps....this is probably one of the most important things in getting the right "balanced" sound.

As ive said to others, 6x9s wont be of benefit to you as you have subs, they'll work just fine, but the big advantage of 6x9s is their bass output....which you wont be needing. Going with a good set of 6" coaxials for the parcel shelf will do the job fine, whether you run them off the head-unit or an external amp is your choice, but off an amp will give you more volume in the rear in general.

    Hope that helps.

You could always just buy the door pods with the map pocket etc, but you'd have to cut holes in your dorr interiors to accomodate them.....i say just go with a full set of new interiors

VR/VS door trims wont fit on VN/VP due to the air con vents and different dashes. You will need to cut your original ones

Buying the factory vn calais door pods or vr/vs door pods with the plastic speaker mounts is the cheapest option. And it looks factory if installed correctly

Oh crap.....thanks guys, absolutely forgot the VR/S door trims wouldnt fit because of the a/c vents etc. Too many cars, not enough memory

Get some good quality 4 inches up front, thats what i did, i was going to put in the pods, but my beige interior it was too much work and i didnt want to cut into the doors. Just get some good alpines and 2 good 6 inches at back. mine is crisp as still with 2 subs
