How to install head unit in Vr berlina?

Hey all i just bought a Vr Berlina and have been having great deal of trouble installing a new headunit in it the plugs fromt he old one are completly diffrent they are bigger and i dont no what cables to keep and to ignore if i was to get a smaller plug thing and re wire it. any help will be much appreciated as it will cost mee $80 to get it installed prffesionaly ... dont really wanna sped that if i can do it myself.

An easy way to wire it up is using a plug adaptor, they will plug into the standard VR plug and then plug straight into your new head-unit. I think they cost around the $20 mark and are available from shops like Super Cheap Auto and JB Hi Fi.

The other option is to test each wire for power / acc / speakers etc and strip / solder the wires from your new head-unit. It takes a little more knowledge and and test light / multimeter plus a small battery to test for speaker wires. If you havent got some knowledge of this or the tools then i would suggest the first option.
