Its not worth doing, unless you want to spend big bucks replacing the whole wiring loom in the car as the climate control uses sensors extra wiring etc, as well as a diferent heater box. Very expensive and also the climate control switches as well as buying the factory DVD screen. It could cost up to 6 grand . I would just trade in the car and buy one with the dvd screen and climate.

thanx for the advice .. But I think I won't need to change anything except the front board which contains all the buttons .. Because I removed it once and it was just a cover or face board which contains the buttons and it is then connected through a port with the main unit and CD changer..plz advice if it is different with VE

no its completely different, YOur chev SS dos not have climate control. The DVD screen will plug into your vehicle, but will not have the extra video, nav wiring in the iso connector.

You can fit any single din, or motorised single din screen headunit directly under the heaters controls. although you have to remove the heater vent going to your rear console. But hey its your car, buggers the passengers

you can easily fit an aftermarket head unit into your ve and then pull it out. you will only have to buy a new rear heater vent.
