    Default Headunit connection help

Just abit of help would be greatly appreciated. I had a suss at the sticky headunit guide and the pictures didn't show up on neither my computer, nor my brothers so it was abit hard understand seeing as I don't know that much about car audio.
I'd rather do it myself instead of paying someone too install it as i'd rather not waste money on having someone installing a headunit.

I've got this kenwood headunit (KDC-x7529.. its got a motorised/detachable headunit) i'm looking at putting in, but when I removed the stock eurovox head and tried placing the new one in, I found the connections were wrong. How do I go about changing all this over? Is there anyway I can take the easy way out like getting add-on connections that slip into the old ones at one end and go into the new ones at the other?
Or do I need to go deeper and take apart wires and solder stuff etc etc

I have a VP Lexcen by the way

    Thanks

Yeah cheers mate, I must just do that. I'm guessing the connections for the Lexcen are the same as the commmodore?

doubt you will find a vp to kenwood specifically. The patch loom will have open ends then you will have to wire them according to the kenwood manual the came with the radio.
