    Default Vt headunit removal

    hey guys,

how do i remove my cd/headunit in my Vt? i've seen on a thread somewhere to bend up sum wire and put into the holes, so 1 piece of wire is pressing into 2 holes (same on each side), but i can't seem to get it out? it will wobble when i pull on it put cant just seem to remove the whole thing.... any ideas? and would anyone know what E - 4 means? on the Headunit, it comes up when i put the CD in and play if for around 10 seconds.

    Cheers guys

cut a coathanger into 4 streight pieces and insert all 4 holes.
push the wires (get someone else on the other side if you like)
the h/u will come out slightly and you will need to pull as it does.

My CD stacker is not reading CD's or shows 'E-04'.

Check that the CD is in the magazine the right way up and that the surface is clean and free of marks and scratches, if the problem persists, it needs servicing.

Error 4 is a laser focus code. Need a new laser. ANd yes you can use a coat hanger, or get the right removal key which has notches to lock the spring in place so you can remove it.
