DVD player issue

I have a slight issue with my dvd player..

I'll put in a normal everyday CD with mp3's on it.. no dramas.. turn car off.. turn car back on, and the dvd will simply "read disc" it won't play it.. just constantly read it.. if I eject the disc, then re-enter it, it will play.. but yeah..

any ideas? it's a sony DVD unit, with screen seperate

If its doing it all the time, then its a fault in the dvd player, unless theres a slight scratch on your disc.

yeah I thought it may be something to do with the disc.. yeah it doesnt do it ALLLL the time, about 70-80% of the time, might need to get some new media happening
