My car has the standard 10 stacker that comes in the Calais. The CD player can not be successfully accessed. It has started displaying a "E-99" error, which, according to the manual, means that the microprocessor needs to be reset. I followed the instructions to do this, but it made no difference. I have ensured that the CDs are ok and in the correct way. I am sure someone out there has a brilliant solution, apart from replacing the unit, so I look forward to your responses. Thanks in anticipation.
have you tried holding the eject button to reset it
i'm having the same problem, resetting it has gotten me no where.
resetting it just made the screen flash and then when you try to play is say that E-99 bull**** again

anyone know how to fix this?
Errorr 99 is a standard fault code. Needs to be sent off for repair. It can cost between 140 and 260 to fix.
