Default Subwoofer wiring in VE sv6

Hi guys i just had my sound system completed in my ve it consists of the removal of the center speaker, all speakers replaced, a LC6 LOC and a zx350 kicker amp.

My question is now i have just purchased a sub. To add that to the mix do i need to run another channel into the Lc6 and amp or is there a setting on my amp that will send the lows from the other two channels into this channel.

Any opinions on how to wire this up will be much appreciated.

    Cheers

do you have spare channels on your amp if so ya can use that if they set it up for it
if you didnt install it go to the place that did and get them to add the sub or if you play with it youll loose warranty

It would depend on how the system was set up when it was installed. Is that Kicker amp the ZX350.2 or ZX350.4?

Hey mate its the 4 channel one. Do i split one of the other cables on the other channel to connect it to the third LC6 channel then the amp?

Yeah mate, just splice into the front speaker wires behind the H/U and run them into the 5th and 6th channels on the LC6. So you will have the front speaker outputs from the H/U going to ch1,2 and 5,6 on the LC6 and the rear speaker outputs from the H/U going to ch3,4 on the LC6. Ch1,2,3,4 going to the Kicker amp running the 4 speakers and ch5,6 going to your sub amp.

Otherwise your Kicker amp will probably have an RCA pass through (not 100% sure on this as i'm not familiar with Kicker gear.) You can just run a RCA cable from the RCA pass through on the Kicker amp straight into the inputs on your sub amp.
