if you have an amp running in your system, you may need to earth your rca cables. mine came with earth wires in them. unsure how to go about grounding rca cables that dont.
im gathering from the topic of your post that the noise is coming through your speakers, so if you have rca cables id be checking them first. common problem really.

Generally, the main reason why you get this whistle is your running RCA cables with Power cables all in the one bunch, Ideally what you want to do, is run your POWER cable all the way from the battery terminal down the right hand side, underneath the sills to the boot (or wherever the amp is) and visa versa with RCA's down the left..
Where have you connected the earth of the amplifier? Some commodores (particulary the VE commodore) have earthing issues. Do not connect it to the battery.
Unlikely to be related to the audio cables ("RCA Cables" as you guys seem to call them. RCA is only the connector).
I notice that a lot of guys are having trouble with noise in thier systems, and I couldn't believe it hadn't been adressed here already, and guess what, it has !!

Tommo, surely the battery would be the best place !!Some commodores (particulary the VE commodore) have earthing issues. Do not connect it to the battery.
