Drag the cables over the gas tank, if there's enough room alot of people have mounted the amp right next to their LPG tank on the roof, some have even mounted them on the boot lid roof itself. And yes, it's ok to mount the amp so close to an LPG tank. However if you still dont want to do that you can mount it on the sides of the boot (walls).

With the sub maybe sit it on the wall or against the LPG tank?

You have a few options (like above).....or what i usually do unless a customer requests other wise is to mount the amp on the back of the subwoofer enclosure, and have the enclosure in the centre of the boot, facing rearwards, with the amp/back of enclosure sitting about and inch or 2 from the gas tank. The only downside is if you need to remove it, which means fully disconnecting the amp wiring.

I'm assuming your car is a VT. You can use a couple of simple 'L' brakets screwed to the box and to the floor, or use a pair of tie down straps that are made for just this job and available from any car audio shop. Remember the VT floor has to lift up to get the spare wheel out so be careful not to screw anything into the tyre, and try and leave enuf cable length so you can lift the mat and the box up enuf to get the spare out.
