aftermarket stereo not working

hi guys i just bought a vr ute and it had a pioneer stereo and 2 bluplunt speakers rolling around under the seats but when i turn the car on the stereo wont turn on im not sure if it has any thing to do with it but to start the car you need to hold the door lock buton while you turn the key and before you start you have to flick a switch witch turns the electronics on. plz help!!!

Someone has wired up an imobilisation circuit that requires you to hold the door lock and flick a switch to start the car. If you want to bypass that then you need to take it to a professional. As for the stereo not working check fuses or get the pro to find out why.
